Myofascial Anatomy in Practice
This course has been designed with all bodyworkers in mind. Whether you are a massage therapist or teacher of yoga, pilates or shiatsu, this course will help you make sense of all the anatomy you had to learn to become a professional. In fact it provides the 'missing link' between anatomy and the movement of every individual!
Myofascial Anatomy in Practice (MAP) gives you an easy-to-remember map of how all the muscles, bones and ligaments join up and connect in continuous lines of movement (or 'pull') to make the shapes of each individual practising Yoga etc. It explains why some people can and some can't do certain postures - so that you can 'read' their bodies readily and see easily how to adjust them!
You can use this course to give you that X-factor when you are teaching:
- Balance, how to find it easily and safely.
- Breath, how to release it to empower posture or meditation.
- Foot placement, why it makes such a difference.
- Adjustment, how to do it wisely and accurately without force.
- Spinal alignment, how to find it naturally.
This is a 6 day course in three 2-day sessions.
