Reiki ( pronounced Ray-key) is a 'laying on' of hands technique thousands of years old and is a method of healing not connected to any religion, cult or belief system.
Reiki First Degree level 1 (two days)
At the end of the two day course you will be qualified to access healing energy for yourselves. You cannot, however, call yourself a Reiki Practitioner until Reiki II has been completed.
The courses comprises:
- Four 'attunements' to open up energy channels
- Practical exercises to learn how to feel energy
- Instruction on how to give treatments to self and others
- 'Cleansing period' 21-28 days - self-treatment daily
On completion, students receive a Reiki manual, certificate and on-going support from the Reiki master.
Reiki Second Degree level (two days)
This course is available to anybody who has already completed a First Degree course, approximately six to nine months previously. Level II builds on the knowledge and understanding gained in Reiki I and allows the student to transmit healing to others.
The course comprises:
- Receipt of three sacred symbols from the Reiki Master, to enhance healing potential
- Three more 'attunements' to enhance sensitivity and intuition
- Practical work
- Self-healing period - 30 days
On completion of Level II, students will receive a Reiki Manual, the Second Degree Reiki Certificate and on-going support and advice from the Reiki Master. Participants will be provided with the necessary training and discipline required to operate publicly as a Reiki practitioner if they wish to do so.
