Testimonials
I chose the Wilbury School on recommendation from a friend who had studied the Holistic Massage course there a few years ago. The course was spread over about the right amount of time (9 months) especially for people who work full time as well. Unlike other courses I looked at, there was the benefit of weekly evening practice sessions and an intensive residential revision weekend which were invaluable - and fun! The teaching was excellent and we were very well prepared for both the written and practical exams by Vicki and Amanda. It's hard work but we were very well supported by the teachers and the whole course was extremely rewarding.

I made a radical decision 6 months into my maternity leave, to leave behind commuting to London and concentrate on retraining with the Wilbury School of Natural Therapy, so that my working life can work around the growing demands of a young family. I have never looked back, having found a wonderful subject to develop into, and learning from very talented, informative and caring tutors. No matter the demands of the course, they were always there to assist and help where ever possible. I found a need in me to learn more and more about this new subject matter and everything that comes from entering such a wonderful industry. Starting a practice from scratch takes time, patience and much business planning to get it off the ground but I feel confident that the quality of my teaching is the root to everything I now do. Thank you all so much.

I trained in Holistic Massage Therapy at Wilbury School over 10 years ago. I'd chosen the school because it had a good reputation for high quality training. Vicki's instruction was clear and thorough and she made learning the techniques interesting and enjoyable. The support offered from the rest of the team was fantastic, they were so patient and took care to emphasise the little things that make a treatment special. My clients love the flow, range of moves and stretches. I would recommend the Wilbury School as a great place to gain a diploma in Holistic Massage as it starts your learning off on a good track and gives you a sound foundation for future study.

I chose the Wilbury for my Indian Head Massage training as the tutor, Geraldine Davies, was well qualified to teach methods that would not place stress on my back. I found her massage routine to be highly effective, as well as giving you a comprehensive range of techniques from which you can tailor the treatment according to individual requirements. The premises and facilities were excellent, and Geraldine was a fantastic teacher, who knew just how to pace the lessons. I can highly recommend the Wilbury School if you are looking for a high standard of professional training in complementary therapy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my course in reflexology. The standard at the Wilbury School is very high and professional. There is a warm and caring attitude among the tutors.
All the other courses offered at the Wilbury school are very useful to create new skills or add to existing skills and are absolutely brilliant, leaving you confident to further your career.

Training at the Wilbury school is extremely thorough and prepares you really well for life as a practitioner. Although anatomy and physiology can be a complex (but necessary) subject to learn, the teaching is superb and easy to grasp. Groups are just the right size so you don't feel intimidated and the teachers are very knowledgeable and approachable, not to mention passionate about their subject. I would recommend the school highly to anyone wishing to study complementary therapies.

I feel very well qualified now and also that what I am doing is worthwhile and valuable. The support from the school is fantastic; Vicki is a ‘rock’ of encouragement and also demands that you do the best you can. I have so enjoyed meeting and working with all the other tutors as well.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Wilbury school as a place to learn natural therapies.

I decided to embark on the Wilbury School Holistic Massage course having decided that a city college course was not for me, even though I had been accepted. I felt that the Wibury approach suited my needs and lifestyle far better, allowing me to concentrate fully on holistic massage only (rather than cramming 3 therapies into one academic year at the college) and gave me the confidence to be the best therapist I could be. I was also working full time during my time studying at the Wilbury and so the flexibility offered to complete the course was invaluable.
The Wilbury tutors are all friendly, knowledgeable, dedicated, approachable and enthusiastic and together they make up a fabulous team. After completing the holistic massage course, I quickly went on to gain the deep tissue, hands-free and Indian head massage certificates.
I have been extremely satisfied with all the training I have received at the Wilbury and am sure that I will go back for more training at some point in the near future.

Although there are hundreds of different schools with different modalities to choose from when starting your journey becoming a massage therapist, I can't think nor recommend a better way than training at Wilbury school. I will always remember the firm precision of the way the foundations were laid down - stressing the importance of knowing your anatomy & physiology, the warm encouragement and support to grow and discover the therapist within you. I also remember Vicky telling me never to give up massage - well, I can't really; this love that started from Wilbury is forever!

I started my first course at the Wilbury school in 2001 and have since completed 3 other courses there. I found the instructors to be knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. The school has a very relaxed atmosphere and makes studying a pleasure. I also found the school to be supportive after I had completed my courses, giving me advice on a couple of occasions when I required some help. The courses are competitively priced and I would certainly go back there to do some more training.

I had worked as an estate agent for 10 + years and was not enjoying my work.
I knew that there must be more to life!
I enrolled at the Wilbury School in 2005 for the holistic massage course on the recommendation of a friend who had completed the course and given me fantastic massages - I had always been very interested in her techniques. She too had completed the course at the Wilbury School and had started a successful massage business.
As soon as I entered the Wilbury School I knew this was an amazing place, it has a great ‘feel’. The tutors on the course were knowlegable and helpful and more. They encouraged me when sometimes studying took last place in a list of ‘things to do’ in a busy working life.
I took my exam in August after a fabulous weekend spent at Marsh Farm earlier that summer, where everything seemed to come together.
Four years later I earn money from doing something I love. Massage became such a big part of my life from the moment I began the course at the Wilbury School.
I hope that this testimonial will encourage someone to take the opportunity to have their own wonderful and life changing experience at the Wilbury School.

My name is Maby and I'm from Barcelona, Spain. I'm a single mum of a 4 years old daughter.
When I decided to do a massage course I was looking for something quite specific: a massage Diploma course, with very good teachers and most important, a relaxed ambience. I met the Principal Lindy twice and I asked her about the course in detail. Also I let her know my worry if I will find the support necessary as I was still learning the English language. She told me that it should be fine and that everyone would be there for me as much as I needed it. After the meeting I was completely sure that it was the right place for me. My personal experience in the Wilbury School has been amazing: relaxed and warm ambience, passionate, professional, wonderful and high standard of teaching. I would definitely recommend the Wilbury school to anyone who asks me.
